Space is for everybody. It's not just for a few people in science or math, or for a select group of astronauts. That's our new frontier out there, and it's everybody's business to know about space.

FAQ
Who can join Illinois Tech Rocketry?
ITR is open to every student at Illinois Tech interested in rocketry and willing to dedicate themselves to the team. We have students from all grades and majors!
I don't know anything about rockets, but I still want to join. Is there anything I can do?
Of course! We welcome all Illinois Tech students, regardless of year, from undergraduate to graduate. ITR comprises engineering students from MMAE, ECE, CS Department to non-engineering students in Architecture, Business, and Marketing. Prior knowledge and experience in rocketry are desired but not required. ITR's mission is to introduce students to rocketry and hands-on engineering projects. As long as you're willing to learn, don't hesitate to get involved. Alternatively, we're always looking for members to fill administrative roles for the team.
When and how do I join?
ITR hosts monthly General Body Meetings throughout the academic year to recruit new members. Events and meetings will be announced on Instagram, so keep an eye on that! However, you can join anytime by contacting Team Leads or requesting access to our Slack channel.
